The Global 6000 is an improved development of the Bombardier Global Express XRS. Production began in 2012. An ultra-long-range business jet, the Global 6000 offers higher cruise speed, increased range, improved cabin layout, and lighting. Like the Global 5000 which preceded it, Bombardier?s Global 6000 has been deliberately named to let you know that the aircraft is capable of some serious range ? precisely over 6000 nautical miles. The range increase is achieved by the addition of a 1,486 lb fuel tank at the wing root. Bombardier claims it takes 15 minutes less to fuel the Global 6000 than the original model due to improved computer systems and mechanical refinements. This jet also has the largest cabin volume of any purpose-built business aircraft, seating 12-16 passengers in three cabin sections. Another key feature of the Global 6000 is its Vision flight deck, upgraded with Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics from Express/XRS Honeywell Primus 2000.
