The Hawker 800XP is a mid-size corporate aircraft developed from the British Aerospace BAe 25 by Hawker Beechcraft. The Hawker 800A is the first of the Series 800 and had its first flight on May 26, 1983. It took nineteen years until the 500th BAe 125 airframe was sold, while in a little over five years British Aerospace was registering the 200th sale of the 800 series. In 1995 the Raytheon Aircraft Company began production of an upgraded version of the company's well-known Hawker 800 business jet.
